Daytona International Speedway

The World’s Center of racing has events year round starting with Speedweeks in February with The 24 hours of Daytona and finishing with the “Great American Race” The Daytona 500. Next is Bikeweek and The Spring Fling Car show in March. July brings Nascar back to town for the Coke Zero 400. Biketobefest in October and The Turkey Rod Run on Thanksgiving weekend are must see events that finish the year.

Volusia Mall

The area’s largest shopping mall featuring; Dillard’s, Macy’s, JC Penney, Sears, American Eagle, Victoria’s Secret, Aeropostale, Abercrombie & Fitch, Bath & Body Works plus over 120 specialty stores and food court. The World’s Most Famous Beach

The 42 Miles of beach in the Daytona Beach area has something for everyone! From the unique experience of driving on the beach to the pristine shores of Ponce Inlet. Take the family to the Boardwalk for rides, attractions and Adventure Landing Water Park. Watch fireworks over the water on summer weekends and enjoy the Shoppes at Oceanwalk for shopping and dining by the sea.

 

 

Daytona Flea & Farmers Market

Voted one of the “Top 5 Markets in the Country” by USA Weekend and the “6th Best Market in the World” by TravelChannel.com, the Daytona Flea & Farmers Market on Bellevue Avenue features over 1,000 booths, 600 vendors and 2.5 million visitors each year. Hundreds of antique dealers, crafters, and artisans and swap meet vendors set-up shop selling everything from fresh, local produce, custom jewelry, original artwork, gourmet coffee and tea – even automobile tires and fishing equipment. The Market is open each Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – rain or shine, all year long – with free admission and free parking.

 

 

Ponce Inlet Light House

Walk inside the white picket fence and step back in time. Maintained and operated by the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse Preservation Association, this beautiful facility represents one of the best preserved and most authentic historic light stations in the nation today. Visitors will agree that the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum offers a treasure-trove of sights, sounds, and experiences for young and old alike.
